About Us
The Company is called African Payday. We are a startup, Diaspora owned business in the Washington DC Metro Area founded by our CEO, Mr. Wesley O. Chenoweth, a Liberian entrepreneur and humanitarian. Mr. Chenoweth began his professional career as a graduate of Syracuse University School of Civil Engineering. He then went on to become an entrepreneur and CEO of companies in the construction, transportation, business development, marketing, and apparel sectors. Mr. Chenoweth is a proud humanitarian, a change agent, and a lobbyist for Africa in Washington D.C.
With all the changes and uncertainties going on in the World today, Mr. Chenoweth is fully committed to aligning himself and the company with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals; the 2030 Agenda; the UN Global Compact; and the African Union 2063 Agenda.
At African Payday, our Motto is: "Empowering Africans Worldwide, on the Continent and in the Diaspora, by Creating Jobs, Starting Businesses, and Building Wealth." These core beliefs and company values arise from the philosophy of the United Nations and the African Union. In order to make "the Africa We Want," we must be able to 'Decrease the Gap' between the Rich and the Poor. The UN Global Goal #1, End Poverty by 2030, is the fundamental driving point of African Payday. We are seeking to empower Africans by providing free training, business skillsets and technology in order to harness the power of the Internet thus creating jobs in the following niche sectors that affect Africa and the World:
We passionately endeavor to do this by uniting the Africans on the Continent with the Africans in the Diaspora. We seek to eliminate the 'brain drain' and 'human capital flight' of our professional and skilled Africans to foreign countries who are only seeking better jobs and a better life. We believe we can provide that right at home in Africa and are encouraging a 're-migration' of our African professionals in the Diaspora 'back to Africa.' Its time to come back home!
